Christal Rothrock has been attending Empty Cloud Sangha retreats since 2018 and became a Zen student of Roshi Randy Wolbert in 2021. She first began her exploration in mindfulness and Zen during her undergraduate studies. This lead to a daily silent sitting mindfulness practice which she has maintained for over 20 years. Christal works as a clinical director and trainer in the mental health field and is a DBT-LBC Certified Clinician. She enjoys her free time in the mountains of Colorado with her spouse and their two dogs.
