Karina Solovieff is a licensed clinical psychologist and a doctoral candidate researching the effects of Zen mindfulness practices on mental health professionals. Her academic work is grounded in silent Zen retreats developed by Marsha Linehan, Roshi, and led by Randy Wolbert, Roshi, with whom she began studying Zen in 2017 upon joining the Empty Cloud Sangha: a community where she found a deep sense of belonging.

Her profession is one of her greatest passions. These silent retreats continually renew her inner energy, allowing her to offer an empathic and compassionate presence in her clinical work.

In addition to her work as a psychologist, Karina is dedicated to organizing Zen retreats around the world, nurturing the intersection between contemplative wisdom and meaningful service.

The Many Beings Are Numberless, I Vow to Save Them.

Greed, Hatred, and Ignorance Rise Endlessly, I Vow to Abandon Them.

Dharma Gates are Countless, I Vow to Wake to Them.

The Pathless Path is unsurpassed, I Vow to Embody it Fully.

Empty Cloud Sangha is a 501(c)3 organization. Donations are tax deductible and will help support the Sangha's mission by providing scholarships for upcoming trainings and retreats.
